What does "pre-order" mean? Can I cancel it?
Pre-ordering is a feature we offer for certain high-demand bikinis that are currently being made in Brazil - they haven't yet been delivered to Australia. It’s a great way for customers to secure their desired item before it potentially sells out once in stock.
The product page for pre-order items will provide an estimated shipment date. However, please note that this is an approximation and actual dispatch times may vary. If you change your mind, you can cancel your pre-order any time before it’s processed by contacting our customer care via email.
If you decide to cancel after the item has been dispatched, our standard return and exchange policies apply.
Can I cancel my order?
Orders can be cancelled and credited if they haven't been fulfilled yet.
Is it safe to shop online with Salty Samba?
Absolutely! Our site uses advanced security measures to protect your information.
Shipping
Where do you ship from?
We dispatch all orders from Adelaide, Australia, typically on the same or next business day.
What if my order doesn't arrive?
We ship to the provided delivery address. If incorrect, we aren't responsible for extra shipping costs.
How do I track my shipment?
After dispatch, you'll receive a tracking number via email or text. If you can't find it, check spam or contact our customer care.
Free shipping
Free standard shipping on orders over $150 AUD (2-8 business days).
Free express shipping on orders over $300 AUD (1-2 business days).
For orders under $150 AUD, express shipping is available at $11.95 (1-2 business days).
Returns/Exchanges
Are sale items returnable?
All final sale items can't be refunded or exchanged.
Received a faulty item?
We work hard to ensure all our Salty Samba pieces are of the highest standard and quality. However, in the case of a faulty or damaged item, please email us at hello@saltysamba.com.au with your order number and a photo of the fault so we can urgently review this for you.
How do I return or exchange an item?
Returning your purchase is hassle-free. You have 14 days to return your Salty Samba purchase if you've had a change of heart, need a different size, or want a new design.
We provide store credit for unworn swimwear and clothing that meets these criteria:
- Items must be unworn and unwashed.
- Must be in their original packaging, with swing tags, hygienic seal, and aqua soluble bag intact.
- Your order number should be included for return/exchange.
- Returns should be shipped within 14 days of receipt.
Please note: We reserve the right to decline returns that don't meet these requirements.
Have you gotten my return yet?
Once we receive your return, we'll email you. Please allow 1-3 days for processing.
How do I redeem store credit?
At checkout, input your store credit code. Note: only one code per order.
Sizing
Which size should I get?
For the best fit, we recommend referring to our size chart on each product page, which serves as a general guideline. As our Salty Samba swimwear is handcrafted, measurements might slightly vary.
Each style can fit a bit differently due to the unique textures of the fabrics, affecting their stretch.

How does your sizing run?
In general, we tend to run true to size or a bit smaller.
Can I mix and match bikini sizes or colours?
Yes! Our bikinis are sold as separates, so choose the best sizes and colours for you.
If the products I ordered doesn't fit right, can I get help?
Of course you can! Refer to our Exchanges/Returns policies and/or email us at hello@saltysamba.com.au. We are always more than happy to help you finding the perfect fit!

Care
How should I care for my Salty Samba swimwear?
To ensure the long-lasting quality of your Salty Samba pieces, we recommend following the below care instructions:
- After contact with salt water or chlorine, rinse your swimwear thoroughly in fresh cold water with a gentle cleanser to maintain its quality.
- Hang your pieces or lay them flat on a clean surface in the shade immediately after rinsing.
- Make sure you keep your swimwear away from rough surfaces.
- Do not bleach, spin dry, tumble dry or dry clean.
Please note that exposure to sun cream, tanning lotion, hot tubs and high levels of chlorine can damage or discolour your swimwear pieces so please be careful if you treasure yours.
